I bought these (and some pink Volvik Crystals) from the PGA Superstore when I received a gift card at a recent outing. I am an occasional golfer and couldn't justify buying Callaway Warbirds or anything like that. These make the game a little more fun, who can't help but chuckle looking at Spongebob's goofy face on a bright yellow ball. They conform with USGA rules and are especially nice when playing in the fall in Michigan because of the leaves on the ground. I am 30 and not ashamed to play Wilson's Spongebob golf balls.
Great to build on your child's excitement about GOLF!

My 5 year old son enjoys the driving range, and just recently played 9 par-3 holes for the first time. He's also a major SpongeBob fan. No surprise, his eyes lit up with delight when I gave him these SpongeBob golf balls. If your kid hasn't gotten excited by golf yet, these fun golf balls might help make a spark. If your kid already likes golf AND SpongeBob, you can't go wrong with this modestly priced gift (or holiday stocking stuffer).
Honestly I'd play these balls with adult colleagues. It's easy to tell your ball from everyone else's, and I admit it - SpongeBob is cool. |
Great for Kids!

These are great golf balls. My 5 year son loves them. He was interested in golf but these make it really fun for him. He may like them a little too much, he wants to use them at the driving range and he lost one in a water hazard which caused a brief meltdown. These help keep his eye on the ball, when he tee's them up he likes to hit Sponge Bob in the face.
exactly what they say they are

These are not a toy - they are real golf balls with Spongebob's picture on it. They were a gift to my brother and were received very well - he loved them! If you know someone who likes golf and spongebob, this is the gift for them (or at least, part of the gift) :)

I bought these for my 17 year old nephew. He liked them a lot. They stand out from the basic white. They were also a good golf ball.
Easy to see and no one else on the course uses them.

These golf balls did exactly what I hoped they would do: serve as a motivating tactic to interest my daughter in the game of golf. She loves sponge bob and now, she enjoys learning golf even more since she gets to do it with her pal Sponger Bob. Clearly, this ball is suited for even the semi-serious player, it's hard, it is unlikely to spin, it feels like hitting a rock / Pinnacle (when you're used to playing Titleist, Callaway, of Nike) but it is PERFECT for the beginner who loves Sponge Bob. A+. I hope Wilson comes out with more character balls in the future, because it really has add a fun new aspect to the game for young beginners!

They are golf balls - what can you say? The value is in the Sponge Bob connection - my eight-year-old is a little intimidated at getting into what seems to be a guys-only world, and mostly adults at that, so she really appreciates that we can inject a little fun into learning golf. Right now they are too precious to use, but she'll get over that. It did what I needed it to, which is to make golf play again.

I purchased these as a joke for a friend. He was constantly saying that a person he plays golf with, always hits his ball by mistake. I thought these would stand out and also solve the recurring problem, and give all a good laugh. It turned out, not only did it work for the reason noted, my friend stated they have helped his game, because they actually are very good quality and go further than the ones he was currently using.
Great gift for the golfer who has everything and likes spongebob

Or hates spongebob. You can smack him with the clubs. haha
I don't play golf, so I can't rate the playability of these balls.
I bought these for my boys to give to their grandfather for father's day.
Nicely packaged fun gift. |

I use them for finger strengthening, helps to keep my fingers limber!
Keep a ball, a little larger, like a superball by my bed so when I wake up I roll my feet on it, to wake up the blood in feet
Keep 2 by computer, other 2 in my Dining room!
I put them in a knee-high sock until I can use them with out them rolling ALL over the floor! They bounce too, easy to see YELLOW!!
keep on moving:)

I wont gamble my game with these when I am driving long shots or hitting with the irons but I cant wait to switch these when I get onto the green, with a straight face. Golf would be dull without all the smiles we can get. They seem to be made well enough; at least for putting. I noticed that they bounce similar to my best golf balls and seem to roll as straight as my others.
These are adult golf balls made by Wilson

This is a great ball to get children excited about golf. But don't let the paint scheme fool you. This is not a children's toy. These are regular/regulation type golf Balls made by Wilson. I originally bought these for my child to learn golf, and later bought some for myself. I am a 40 year old golfer and these balls play fine on the golf course. They are comparable to other Wilson or Top-Flites that I've used in the past. Easy to find on course because they are so unique in color (flourescent yellow is really bright and ball is easy to see). Plus, these golf balls remind me relax and not take the game so seriously. My kid likes them too!

I got the for my grandson to hit with his new clubs but he and the other children seem to throw them more than hit then. They like them and the are fairly soft so they don't hurt anyone.
