Almost a Pro V1, just half the price and one less layer, but it really is a superior ball because the Tour version isn't error correcting. Most golf balls are designed to actually straighten out if mis hit with excessive side spin.
Don't ask me how it works, I can't explain it but I've read numerous articles that explain how and you can find them too.
The Tour version is two layer ball, the NXT Extreme (formerly just NXT) is a single core ball.
Golf pros have the ability to power fade or draw golf shots around dog legs, this can be accomplished with a combination of wrist and elbow position at impact and changes in stance. When using a mainstream golf ball like a Pinnacle or or even a TopFlite, the ball will straighten out.
If you are inconsistent in your swing than you should avoid the NXT Tour and stick with the NXT (NXT Extreme). Either way, they won't cost as much as a Pro v1. |

| I was teaching my three older kids how to play golf on our vacation this year. With the price of golf balls at the pro shop (and even the discount golf stores) I thought I'd check out Amazon. I found these golf balls and they were perfect. The kids used a bunch of them and the golf balls were all in great shape. There were no scuffs or cuts. Furthermore, it was fun seeing all of the logos on them. I'll be buying more as I have the two younger kids are ready to take up the game. |

Can't wait to hit 'em!
They look to be in very good shape, mostly. I am going to try the worst looking ones out first and will see how they hold up. Logos, mostly unblemished, some worn looking. |

| The quality of the golf balls is certainly very good. However, if you don't want to play golf balls with random company logos, these are not for you. at least half of the balls had logos on them. |

Not up to par with other used "mint" suppliers

I've bought a *lot* of used balls off eBay over the years, and these simply aren't up to the standard set by eBay suppliers like LostGolfBalls and others (virtually anyone with a 99.5+% positive rating has been the same in my experience).
Roughly a third of the 36 "mint" balls I bought here are either slightly yellowed, have a small scuff or two, or other such imperfections, and in every "mint" shipment I've ever bought off eBay, if there were 2 such balls in a batch of 36, it was an anomaly. It certainly won't affect the play of the ball, but these would rank as "AAA"/"Near Mint" rather than "AAAA"/"Mint" as advertised.
Make your purchasing decisions accordingly. |
