| I wanted an inexpensive driver to use with my really old clubs. I recently played a round with a friend of mine who has a $300 driver, and we went yard-for-yard on our drives. He couldn't believe how inexpensive mine was! If you're an amateur like me, this is a great club for your weekend ball abuse. |

| I saved $200 bucks on a name brand driver, this hits as well as ones sold for 3 times the price. I replaced an older Taylor Made that cost over a hundred bucks 20 years ago. If you are a weekend player, save your money for the name brand & get this one, it is every bit as good, has a graphite shaft also. Well worth the $[...] price. |
For $20, you can't beat it...

| I had been shopping for a good driver for a long time. I was looking to spend around $100-150 until I found this, I read a few reviews and decided to try it out.. first day out it took me about 6 holes to get used to it, but after that I was landing them nice and straight down the fairway with no trouble... Excellent for $20! |

I've played several rounds with this club, so I now feel competent to review it. I'm a hacker (~100 per round), and my old driver was an old smaller headed Big Bertha Steelhead. I could hit it far, but I sprayed all over, left and right. It took a session at the range to get used to the TEC. It's a little heavier than some big-headed clubs, so for me, a stiff shaft might have been better than the regular stiffness that this club has. Also, I hit pretty high, so 10 degree loft might have been better for me. Despite that, I now hit the ball longer and more consistently. With the TEC, I either hit the ball straight or slice it. The hook is now totally out of play. So I can adjust my aim and fire away without fear of the ball going left. I'm VERY happy with how I play with the TEC. And for the price, I'm ecstatic.
Other info. This club is made in China, if that's an issue for you. Also, I'd recommend getting a cover for it. I've only played a few times, and I already notice a paint chip where I probably banged it on another club in the bag. |
An amazing deal!

I own an older Callaway driver. It's a VFT model about 10 years old and was about $400. It has the smaller head compared to these larger headed drivers. I read the reviews on this very inexpensive driver. So I went for it. The first day on the driving range was just to get a feel for it without any great expectations. I was shocked at the performance of this driver. I'm used to the smaller head, so this driver was easy to get used to and felt great! I was hitting crappy range balls 275 yards right off the bat! I highly recommend this club.
Update: 4-30-2010. I went and played golf with the usual buddies I play with. I showed them my new driver right off the bat. They asked me what I paid for it, but I wouldn't tell them. I said I would after the round was over. The first Tee-Shot was awesome. Long and right down the middle. They thought I was just lucky with a new club. I out drove all of them. Then it happened again and again. By the 6th hole of the front 9, they were convinced it wasn't luck!
They practically begged me to tell them, but I still didn't. Throughout the round they kept guessing. I did say I got a great deal. None of them guessed less than $150. At the end of the round I told them $20. They just about crapped their pants! 2 of them are buying this club now! I also bought another one just in case something happens to the first one. At this price why not! |
What a deal

Man, this is the best 20 bucks I have ever spent, hit two buckets at the range after getting the club and I was smashing the ball. I think I will buy another just to have or give away.
Really nice. |
best you can get for the money

i have had this driver for a few months now and love it.
It has added any where between 35-50 feet to my drive. went from hitting between 235 to 250 with my 395 cc. and with this i now hit between 265 to 280 consistantly and even hit the 300's a quite a few times.
as far as the reviews about the head breaking off. i am very rough on my clubs but have fidured out over the years if you dont hit the ground a lot the clubs usually last longer.
would definetly recommend.
dont be afriad of the price tag you can get quality for cheap. |

| This is a very quality driver for the price. I've taken it out to the course and range multiple times and I'm extremely impressed with it's performance. It would be difficult to find a better driver for the money. |

| I just got it for the driving range. I'm not a golfer, but just go out there to let some steam out. Takes my abuse and feels good. Can't complain, I got it for $20. |
Worth $100

I played my first 18 holes with this bad boy today, and boy was it sweet! I'm a mid-high handicapper and know that, despite what I want to believe, a $400 driver isn't going to turn me into professional.
I was very pleased with the way this beast felt and hit the ball. Compared to my older driver, which I paid $150 for, this was by far superior. It has a huge club face and delivered some sweet hits. I had way fewer duffs and posted a better score than I normally do. In fact, my friend, who's handicap is about 8, was impressed with it as well. He hit it a few times and it went just as far as his Taylor Made R5.
I see the price has increased to thirty dollars. SO WHAT? This is still an incredible deal. Snatch one up before they raise the price to fifty. |
Great deal for a weekend player

| I have used this driver about 20x. I love it. It's very consistent, gives good distance, is light, and is a far better club than I am a player. I'd recommend it to anybody that wants a decent driver without having to pay very much for one, and who doesn't mind using off-brand gear. |
Awesome for the price

| This club is amazing. I have never owned an expensive driver (bought one at the thrift store) but this one is great. I have had no problems with it since I got it in december. My golf buddies and I have compared it to their more expensive clubs and it stacks up fine. It has a large sweet spot and swings very smoothly despite its lack of weight. Now that I have finally learned how to hit a drive (I used to slice insanely badly) I can crank balls 300+ yards on a regular basis. I even hit one 360 yards the other day with this beast. This club is a great find if you are a beginner or intermediate player and it is a fraction of the cost of other clubs! |
Best bang for your buck!

| Wondered what that driver was with the huge head, wanted to try one. I bought mine at walmart for $15. LOVE IT! Yes, I'm a woman, play a couple of times a week and this driver is easy to hit, long and straight. Makes my partner look bad. I have used it for at least 6 months now with no break problems. |
Play better now

I just started playing golf again after about a 10 years. Wasn't that good than, not that good now (if I shoot below 100, I had a good day), but my clubs were about 10 years old. I still hit my irons OK, but my driver was really out dated, you know, steal shaft, small head. I saw all the guys I play with using those big headed drivers and thought, "god, I really have to get one.". Went to Amazon, cause I have $200 gift card, looked at all the R9's, Titlist, Ping drivers for around $150 - $300, but this Ti driver kept popping up for $29. I thought to myself, why not try the big headed graphite shaft driver for $29 to see if it makes a difference. If it sucks, it's only $29, if it works well, maybe I'll spend more on a brand name.
Well, its been a few weeks, and I'm keeping what I have. If it breaks, I'll buy another one. I out hit most of the guys I play with now. I use to hit around 190 - 200yrd, now I hit it about 230 - 260 (good hit and roll :)). It may help with the slice a little, but I don't think any club (or ball) can help if you don't swing properly. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a good new driver.

GREAT DRIVER FOR THE MONEY!

| The Tec Plus is a very good driver for the money. I was pleasantly surprised by the feel and performance of this driver. I am a beginning golfer who is steadily improving my game. The driver is forgiving and grants maximum performance for the money. I have a very good Ping driver and this driver is more forgiving and not much less in distance than the more expensive driver. A good buy you can't miss with. |
Wow!

| I bought this driver to replace my old wood driver (I know I am behind the times). This driver is unbelievable! Combined with a certain golf ball I hit a drive yesterday of 275 yards, another at 271, and another at 261. I have never hit the ball so far in my lifetime (I am 54 years old btw). It is completely changing my game. I am now getting on par 4's in 2 and I almost drove a par 4 yesterday. Par 5's used to be tough, but I was on in 3 with ease. The club is holding up well under play and I highly recommend it. For the price you can't beat it. |

| Club is just good looking. Very Light, nice soft grip. Can't beat it for the price. I've had a bit of trouble with slicing since not used to the large head, but after a few baskets of balls on the driving range getting that under control. |
It costs almost nothing

| Ok, it is not a Big Bertha. But it is also less than twenty bucks. If you are looking for a club to slog at the driving range, or just a cheap club, this is it. |
