Ryan Patrick Armour was born on February 27 in 1976 and is an American Professional Golfer on the PGA Tour team. He attended Ohio State University, and earned third team All-American honors in 1998. In 1995 and 1998 he was selected to the All-Big Ten squad, and also played in the United States junior finals in 1993. He turned pro in 1999 and his current team affiliation is with the PGA Tour. He was also a member of the Nationwide Tour, but only between 2004 and 2006. He also played on the NGA Hooters Tour between 2002 and 2003, and made a brief stopover on the Golden Bear Tour in 2003. The last two years of play that Ryan Armour has participated in have been prolific, with him earning more winnings under the PGA Tour than in previous tours.

Ryan Armour earned his 2007 PGA Tour season card by finishing at T13 at the T-School in 2006, then went on to qualify for the FedEx cup in 2007. He is currently a member of the PGA Tour and is expected to participate in some of the upcoming golf tournaments. Since joining the PGA Tour in 2007, he has played a total of 64 events and has made 34 finished cuts. He has earned a total of $1,217,487 dollars in winnings. $354,508 of this has been earned in 2008, and the remainder, $862,979 was earned in 2007, the year that he joined the tour. The past two years have definitely been productive for Ryan Armour, and he is expected to have just as prolific a 2009 season when it starts up in the coming months.
