Course History:

This gorgeous course was just renovated this year and it is truly a course that all golfers in the area should make the effort to play at least once. It originally opened in the 1970's and quickly became a favorite course of many in the area. The name means contentment and expresses the serenity and peace that you'll find at this course.

What You Need to Know:

You can register your tee time online at their website, which we recommend since they also run frequent specials. If you prefer, you can also call the number listed above to register your time. It is a good idea to shoot for about 14 days in advance to avoid the rush.

We also recommend wearing traditional golf attire here and using soft spikes. This is a beautiful and quiet course and the management appreciates golfers who follow PGA rules and keep disturbances to a minimum.

The pro shop is incredibly well stocked and the clubhouse which was also recently renovated offers a welcome retreat after a tough round of golf. Although the course is well suited to players of all skill levels there are a few holes that can be quite difficult.

Playing Hints:

The main water hazards on this course are on the first, second, eighth, eighteenth and thirteenth hole. There is a small creek that runs through a couple holes but it is easy enough to avoid. The water challenge on the thirteenth and eighteenth holes are the toughest as it separates you from the green. We recommend ironing in for better accuracy.

There is a sharp dog leg on the sixth hole and the rough can make it difficult to par this one out. You'll want to stay to the left if possible to avoid these hazards. The eighteenth hole also features a very sharp dog leg so don't get complacent because the end is in sight. You'll want to hit a very long and straight tee shot so that you have a clear view of the dog leg from there.
