Best golf purchase in years

| I have used a skycaddie for two years. In fact, both only lasted about 6 months before they broke. In a panic, I bought a Bushnell V2 w/ Pinseeker the day before going to Pinehurst and played 4 rounds of golf with it, three of the courses I've never played before. It does everything Bushnell claims. Its very easy to use and the Pinseeker mode works perfectly. It never gave me an incorrect reading. One day I was with a Pinehurst member who had a laser designed to work specifically with a reflective element on top of all the Pinehurst flags. Every reading on every par 3 was exactly the same as his to the yard. If you have never used a Rangefinder or skycaddie, I'd recommend the Bushnell range finder. It does everything a skycaddie does AND you can laser anything on the course, not just the geographic references the skycaddie has in its course memory. I'm bitter about my skycaddies expenses, but this thing works better. When I get my skycaddie back, I'll use it but won't spend the money to renew the annual membership this fall. |
Works great, easy to use

| I had a non-pinseeker model before and liked it. This one is much better at finding the pin/ flag. Previous model would have some problems distinguishing the flag from trees in the background. This one zeros in very nicely. Highly recommended! |
Excellent product

| Have had the TourV2 Pinseeker a few weeks now and am absolutely happy with it. Easy to use, lightweight and just tucks into one of my golf bag pockets...in less than 30 seconds I can get a distance "read" and make a club decision. Much faster than trying to figure out the distance or stepping off distances from markers on the course. When I select a club, it's nice to actually know the distance to the flag....and I find it useful to check distance to hazards, creeks, etc. Already seeing improvements in my scoring. |
Bushnell Tour V2 Pin Seeker

| This Bushnell is easier to use than the next size up. While the optics aren't quite as crisp, they are very good. It is easy to focus and doesn't require real steady hands to find the pin and get a distance measurement. Also, the small size and clip on case are easy to attach to my golf bag so it is always with me when I go to the course. We have both this one and the other one but this one is my preference. |
Works like a charm

I purchased the Bushnell Tour V2 for golf, replacing an older rangefinder which did not have Pinseeker technology. The 5x magnification on the Tour V2 is easier to hold steady than the 6x on my old rangefinder. The Pinseeker feature works great, too. To get a reading on a flag, simply scan back and forth across the flag itself, and the rangefinder will show you the closest reading it gets, which is almost always the distance to the pin.
It's easy to get distance to hazards, also, using the pinseeker setting, but if you have trouble reading a certain object for some reason, you can switch off pinseeker, and use the rangefinder in scan mode, getting continuously updated distances to everything the laser sweeps across. Good product. I'm very happy with it. |
Awesome Product

I just received Tour V2 as a warrenty replacement for the Pro Tour that I returned as defective.
The Tour V2 is so far superior to the Pro Tour especially the pin seeker feature. It recognizes the flag, even when it is limp, and bingo you have the yardage.
Battery life of the Pro Tour was a problem and supposedly the V2 is far superior. We'll see.

| I like this unit better than my Sky Caddie, as it gives me an exact distance to the pin. I was a little worried that I would be too "shaky" to lock in on the flag, but the Pinseeker Technology makes it a snap, even for me! |
Handy and easy to use

| I purchased the Bushnell Tour V2 to replace a 5 year old Bushnell Yardage Pro that stopped working. I was satified with the Yardage Pro, but the Tour V2 is much faster at acquiring the yardage and feels better in my hand. I love the fact that it will fit in a golf cart cup holder and that I can use it with one hand. I also like the carrying case better. For me it is an indispensable golf tool. |

| Product works well. Good telescope, easy to read distance. Size is not obtrusive. Easy to use. Negative - Has a weird 3 volt battery which requires a battery store for replacement. I paid $9.50 for battery. Original battery still working but I always carry a backup. |
Very happy with this purchase

| Requires a steady hand to use at long range (holding with two hands and tucking your elbows does the trick), but otherwise very easy to use. Nice compact size. Comes in very handy on unfamiliar courses. |
Bushnell Tour V2 with Pinseeker Laser Range Finder

| I have used the V2 range finder now for 3 weeks, playing golf at least 3 times a week. I have found the V2 to be extremely accurate, versatile, light weight, compact, and easy to use. I also have a Sky Caddie to compare distances, and the V2 is right on every time. I am a 5 handicapper, and I've found this device to be perfect for my needs. I purchased this model because I had read other reviews that the more expensive models with more features and 7x power were not as compact and easy to use because of the size and having to hold the higher power models very steady when looking through the viewfinder. The Sky Caddie gives faster readouts, naturally, so I use it most of the time; however, it still has a $50 annual renewal, requires periodic charging (about every 4th round), and new courses have to be downloaded. I think most players would do fine with just the V2. |
Awesome! Well worth the money

| I've had the range finder for about 2 weeks now and I have no complaints. It is fast and easy to use. The pinseeker option is neat but I only use it half the time. Most of the time I can get a lock on the flag without it. I'm 30 years old and a 15 handicap. I highly recomend the Tour v2. Don't bother getting a "skinz" for it though. They are worthless. |
Bushnell Tour V2......gotta love it!

I have used the Bushnell Tour V2 several times now and really love it. It gives me more confidence in my club selection and approach shot swing. I think the "Pineseeker" function is a must, since holding the device steady sometimes is difficult. I am a 9 Handicap golfer and feel that just adding an extra level of confidence when knowing the "exact" distance to the pin will help me shave a little more off of that number.
Note: I also purchased that neoprene "sleeve" for the Tour V2 and find it a bit annoying as it slips out of place when taking it out of the supplied carrying case, requiring adjustment before using the rangefinder. A minor inconvenience, but annoying all the same. |
Perfect for the job

I've tried almost all of the rangefinder and GPS products out there and this one was the most user friendly of the bunch on a round-by-round basis. Lightweight, accurate and easy to use (without slowing up play) - what more can a golfer ask for?
The Skycaddie is pretty cool, and can give you a lot more data, but at the cost of being at times confusing and a drag on play time. The V2 is just a more practical tool for the job.... |
Excellent

I couldn't be happier with the Tour V2 Pinseeker,
It is compact, lightweight, accurate and very easy to get distance to the pin or any other object on the course. What more could you want in a yardage measuring device?
Highly recommended. |

I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend, an avid golfer with a 2 handicap. He mentioned that he wanted one, so I set out to buy him the best that I could.
I consulted with one of his buddies, who steered me to the Bushnell brand. Based upon the reviews, I chose this one, and I made the right choice.
My boyfriend LOVES this! He can't stop talking about it:) |
Bushnell V2 Rangefinder does the job

| If you're looking for a rangefinder go no further. I have had the full sized version of the Bushnell which I loved (but left on a cart one day and never saw again). I decided to try the V2 as a replacement. It is lower cost and lighter weight but does the same job just as effectively. |

| I replaced an older Bushnell rangefinder with the V2 mainly because the older model didn't work well at courses that didn't have the prisms on the flags. The V2 has worked at every course I've gone to whether the course had prisms on the flags or not. It's easy to use, the yardages show up almost instantly. The V2 will give you the confidence to go at the pin. Additionally you can range objects on unfamiliar courses to figure out whether it's best to lay up or go for it. I played with a couple of guys that had the GPS range finders and while they were still trying to figure the distance to the flag, I had my number and was ready to go at the stick. I highly recommend the Bushnell V2, it's an exceptional product plus Amazon.com had the best price I could find anywhere. |

| It is awesome. I had the old version of the smallest rengefinder on earth without pinseeker technology. I believe the tour pro. It worked well but if there was no wind and you were quite aways from the green sometimes you could not pick up the flag. This one, if in question, takes the distnce from the closer object. Highly recommended. |
