The default mode for this device is to measure the distance to a golf pin, but it can be changed at the push of a button to measure the distance to ANYTHING in "General Mode".
HOW TO USE
Press the ON / Adjust Button.
Aim the base line on the screen on a level with the green.
Press ON/ Adjust button to lower the location of horizontal line to the top of the pin.
The number displayed on the the top of the screen is the distance in yards. Attention:

| Being a novice golfer, I wanted something quick, effective and powerful to give me distance to the pin. This range finder gets the job done, but it is awkward to use, requiring several punches of buttons to get the calibration done and the instructions on how to use it were pretty much useless. I have been much happier with software loaded into my iPhone. Still, it does have occasional used, particularly when looking for distance over sharp doglegs. I still carry it in my bag. |
